Hello everyone and greetings from your new CRLC Board! Your new board for 2008-2009: Sarah Rothbauer, Treasurer; Kim Wilson, Secretary; Deedee Albertin, Programs; Shirley Newlin, Activities; Robin Garcia,  Socials; Latricia Walker, Publications; Membership, Yudith Vides; Parliamentarian, Lori Curtis and Committee Chairs for Membership are Hilary Sellars and Carol Ann Hamm. We are all here to welcome you and invite you to join us on committee positions for the New Year ahead. I’m so pleased to have all these ladies to help support us for the year ahead.

I hope you’re all enjoying your summer so far… Our new board has met for their first official meeting and we are all looking forward to the upcoming year! We have already started planning lots of exciting programs, activities and social gatherings to enable all of us to get to know our neighbors better and have plenty of fun over the next year.

Plans are in motion for our first “big event” in August. RUSH as we like to call it, which is the perfect opportunity for you to renew your membership! This is the perfect opportunity to meet with our activity coordinators who are responsible for organizing our CRLC clubs at the Cinco Ranch Golf Club. This is the best time to pick and choose which groups from the awesome activity groups we have available. If you’re new to the Cinco Ranch area this is for you!

This year’s Social Calendar is underway with the first party of the year being organized and we will have this information available for you as well. We will also be looking for volunteers to help with our socials throughout the year! So, remember to sign up at the social table for all the fun social activities. Part of the fun is planning and the friends you make along the way Please contact Robin Garcia, if you want to be a part of the planning committee for socials.

Of course we will meet for our regular summer programs over the summer for social time. For June we have travel ideas and give-a-ways and July we will have ZUMBA dance lessons. Come out, bring your neighbor or a friend and join us for our Summer Socials at the Golf Club on June 24 th and July 29 th at 7:00 p.m. There will be an opportunity to get to know your board members and join the ladies club early. And remember to beat the RUSH and join or renew your membership for a fun-filled year. See you at The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch!
